When Daddy's Away....

Andy had a 6am flight on Friday morning to Pittsburgh to meet up at Seven Springs for his annual guy's weekend with his high school buddies (known as the BBoyz). So, I had the kids to myself for the weekend. On Friday night, I decided to read up on potty training (3 day potty training ebook recommended by several moms) and made the decision to start Saturday morning. We headed to Target bright and early to stock up on underwear, potty chairs, and M&Ms! Avery seemed to pick it up quickly and it really clicked. She had a few small accidents midday, but then had a great rest of the day. Ryan on the other hand had a few accidents and really just wanted his diaper back. He never went in the potty, even after an hour or so of sitting there! We spent the afternoon playing with bubbles and the water table and had a great time. We were all tired out by bedtime!
