100 days!

Only 100 days until the c-section date! Hard to believe! The baby furniture arrived on Saturday and for now is just in the middle of the room. The furniture looks great. Two cribs take up a lot of space! The painter is coming on Thursday to do the two bedrooms and the bathroom upstairs. We are going with green in the nursery, yellow in the bathroom, and latte in the extra guest room. We will attach pictures once we determine where all the furniture pieces will go. I think we will do a glider and nightstand in the loft area outside of the nursery as there just isn't enough room. We still need to shop for the glider in the next few weeks.
Andy and I are heading up to Vail on Saturday for some R&R. He is hoping to hit the slopes and I'll be getting a much needed massage. We are staying at the Arrabelle, which is a brand new hotel in Lionshead. Can't wait!

Almost 23 weeks

Andy and I did our Multiples class at the hospital on Sunday. It was 5 hours plus a lunch break. I'm glad we went as there was definitely helpful information. I had a dr appt on Weds. and had a quick ultrasound to check the heartbeats and my cervix and everything looks good. Then, met with the dr. Right now one is head down and the other is breech. It sounds like they will pretty much run out of room around 28 weeks. I'm leaning towards the c-section so we went ahead and scheduled it for Feb. 25. The scheduler called today and the delivery will be at 7:15am! On the 25th, we will will be 2 or 3 days shy of 38 weeks, which is full term for twins. Hopefully, the babies will hold out until then!
Our baby furniture should be delivered this Saturday! We picked out the paint colors for the baby room and bathroom. We are hoping the painter can come out in the next few weeks so will be pretty much done. I even started organizing the closet. We will attach some pictures once the furniture is in place and the paint is done.

21 Weeks!

We are now 21 weeks! We had a dr appt earlier this week and everything looks great. I now start going every 2 weeks. We found out 4 weeks ago we are having a boy and a girl and they reconfirmed that this week. We are starting to get organized. The baby furniture has been ordered and now we need to pick out paint colors and a glider. I attached a few pictures from the Ultrasound. I'm still waiting to feel them move. A few times I thought maybe I did, but then I'm not sure. Andy is anxious for when he can see and feel them move as well. We are doing a a multiples class at the hospital next Sunday. We have also signed up for a class around preparing your dog for bringing the baby home and I have signed up for a multiples breastfeeding class. We still need to sign up for a baby care class.
