Twins??

Avery let me brush this morning and it was nice and soft and looked very much like mine as we had the same part. Andy grabbed a picture of us. My favorite part is Ryan's hand on my shoulder and his foot peaking out.

January Birthday Parties

January was a busy month of birthday parties for their school friends.  The kids enjoyed celebrating Tyler, Chase and Mattie's birthdays.  Tyler's party was at My Gym, Chase's party was at Monkey Bizness and Mattie's party was at Build a Bear.  They especially loved the Build a Bear as they had never been before.  Avery made a bunny rabbit and Ryan made a white bear he named Snowy.

Stock Show and Rodeo

We bought tickets to the Rodeo and hit the Stock Show beforehand.  This was our third stock show and first rodeo.  Avery seemed a little apprehensive of the petting zoo, but once we were in and she found a brush, she was set.  They had fun petting the goats, sheeps, llamas and pigs.  Ryan took a train ride and then the kids played at the jungle gym.  Then, it was time to head over to the Rodeo. On the way over, we stopped to get some pictures with the John Deere tractor - it was huge.

The rodeo started at 3:30 and got there a little after it started.  Ryan especially loved all the action.   We got to see bareback riding, tie-down roping, mutton bustin' and the Westarnaires.  After the rodeo, we headed to Highland Tap and Burger to grab dinner and watch the Heels play basketball.  What a fun outing!

Broncos Playoff Game

We had the Angelier's over to watch the Broncos vs the Ravens.  Andy picked up some Broncos cupcakes with quite the blue icing!  We enjoyed watching the game, chili and the cupcakes!  Unfortunately, the Broncos lost to the Ravens so no Bronco Super Bowl this year!

Monkey Business

We headed to Monkey Bizness to celebrate Ben Carlson's fourth birthday.  This was our first time to the big Monkey Bizness. It is nice that each birthday party has their own room.  Avery and Ryan were a bit shy, but still had lots of fun running around and playing.  They especially loved the dinosaur cupcakes!!
