Easter Weekend

On Saturday, we headed to Steamboat Springs to spend Easter weekend. The Baughmans had use of a place with four bedrooms and invited us up. We stayed at One Steamboat Place, a brand new place right at the base of the mountain. Our place was amazing. The mountain was closed for skiing, but we didn't mind just having a quiet weekend and hanging out. The Baughman's have 3 girls age 6, 4, and 2 and they are so sweet and got along great with Avery and Ryan.

Pool time (we were going to check out the Hot Springs, but it was rainy pretty hard, so opted for the pool instead for a quick dip)

Dinner time!

Time for cupcakes. Avery ate all the stars first!

Avery reading her book to Maggie. Avery and Ryan were both obsessed with Maggie and just kept saying "Hi Maggie!" It was so cute!

Day Off

I had Good Friday off as one of our floating holidays, so took the kids to the Children's Museum and then headed to visit daddy at his office and go to lunch. We had a fun day before heading home for naps.

Aquarium

We headed back to Denver on Tuesday morning and decided to check out the aquarium. Ryan didn't enjoy the fish as much as Avery, he really just wanted to see the tiger!! Luckily, the tiger was out and they loved it! We had lunch at the aquarium before we had to say bye to Andy's parents.

It's amazing what four months can do as during this visit with their grandparents Avery & Ryan now were very excited and comfortable with their grandparents - no more tears (which meant we could get some more time to ourselves!). Though Avery struggled with the distinction between Grandma and Grandpa as she called Andy's dad Grandma the entire time. Overall, we had a great visit and look forward to seeing them again in June.

Sledding

We never made it sledding in Denver this past winter since we didn't get much snow this year, so we brought the gear up to Breck. Avery and Ryan got their coats, pants, hats, and gloves on with no complaints and off we went. They were a little hesitant when we got to the snow, but then enjoyed their time on the sled. It was so cute to see them all bundled up. Can't wait until we can get them on skis!

Happy Avery!

Tuesday night we had a Seder - it was a modern Seder as we ran it with Haggadah app for the iPad!

Vail

Monday, we headed over to Vail to walk around and have lunch. We brought the stroller, which hasn't been used in some time, but came in handy!

Breckenridge

Saturday we all went to gym class and came back to pack up the cars and headed up to Breckenridge for three nights. We stayed at the Hyatt Main Street Station and had a great place. Andy hit the slopes and the rest of us checked out the Children's Museum. The kids had a great time!
