Nutcracker

Avery performed in her first ballet recital today!  Dress rehearsal didn't go so well last Saturday, so wasn't sure if she would actually show up on the stage!  I think it helped to drop her off well before the start and she got to hang out with her classmates before it was time to go on stage.  She did great and the danced to "All I want for Christmas is a Hippopotamus".  It was pretty cute and we were so proud of her.  The first 45 minutes of the show was performances to various holiday songs by different classes. Then, they had a break where we were able to pick up Avery and she got to see the Nutcracker performance with us.  She and Ryan did great watching the dancers and did a lot of clapping.
