The weather forecasters had been calling for now earlier in the week for about 3-6 inches on Friday. As Friday approached the snow projections quickly escalated to blizzard like levels. It started snowing Thursday night just as we were getting ready for bed. By the time we woke up, we had well over a foot! and it was still snowing hard! Everything was closed. We kept the kids home from school, their school was one of the few that stayed open. It was good we kept them home, because the school ended up closing at 1:00 anyway. Andy and I tried to balance parenting and still being productive with work. When the snow was finally done Saturday morning, we ended up with 22 inches at our house!
