We weren't so sure we would have the birthday party as planned on Saturday with the almost 2 feet of snow we got the day before. Luckily, the roads were in relatively good condition Saturday morning so we didn't need to reschedule the party. Plus, we had 30 cupcakes at the Carlsons, which they were nice enough to pick up on Friday as the person who made them lives in the same neighborhood. I had lots of running around to do on Saturday morning, but since no one was out on the roads, I was able to get a lot done in a short amount of time. We had their party at Lifetime Fitness and it included an hour of gym games and an hour in the party room. Avery and Ryan were slow to warm up to their party, but then once they did they had a great time playing with their friends.
