We packed up Tuesday morning and went to the Science Center and Aquarium. We had a great time exploring. Hickory is lucky to have a great facility like this for kids. Afterwards, we went to lunch at Mellow Mushroom and then had to say bye to Grams and Gramps. It was fun to spend some time in Hickory and more time with Grams and Gramps. On our way to Raleigh, we stopped in Greensboro to visit my friend Jennifer and her family. We went to grad school together and haven't seen her since our wedding. We were able to catch up while the kids ran around. We then drove to Jill's house in Cary as she was nice enough to let us spend the night. Jill and David have a 1 year old and had two pack n plays we were able to borrow for Avery and Ryan to sleep in. They just recently built their house and it was gorgeous. In order for us to see as many of our Raleigh friends as possible, my friend Shelly and her husband hosted a cook out at their house. It was great to see everyone - it has been 3 years since we have been in North Carolina. So, we got to meet a lot of new additions since then!!
