Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

After a nice breakfast buffet at the hotel, we packed up everything and headed over to the zoo.  It was quite cooler out and glad we had packed some warm clothes!  The kids loved seeing the giraffes up close and being able to feed them.  There was a baby giraffe that was making its debut as well.  We also found out they had just opened their new elephant area on Friday.  The elephants have the best views! Ryan was a happy boy and we also got to see a elephant demonstration.  After the elephants, we made our way through the rest of the zoo.  And, also rode the carousel.  It is such a great zoo!
