Heritage Square

We wanted to check out something new on Monday and decided on Heritage Square.  Heritage Square is a little amusement park outside of Golden. I really wasn't sure what to expect.  We got there early, so it wasn't too busy yet and started on the little roller coasters.  The round and round was making us adults a bit nauseous, but the kids loved it.  Andy got on the banana ride with Avery and could barely squeeze in.  We brought a picnic lunch, which worked out well.  Greg and Taiten played some mini golf and Greg figured it was easy to sneak them all on and played a few holes. Avery and Ryan don't quite get the concept, but certainly enjoy themselves.  We also spent some time in the arcade area and the skee ball was a disaster with balls going everywhere but where they belonged!  Taiten had fun shooting hoops but tough to get the balls up quickly before the time ran out.  We ventured out on the Swan paddle boat, I've been wanting to do a paddle boat and even better to be in a Swan boat.  Andy had to do on the steering and paddling as I was in the back with Ryan.  The kids  also did the carousel twice and Ryan had his first pony ride.  He loved it and had the biggest smile on his face the whole time!
Heritage Square was a great choice and fun was had by all!
