Trains

We headed to the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden on Monday. I didn't even know this place existed! The kids had fun in the gift shop and we weren't even sure we needed to buy tickets. We did make our way outside and had fun checking everything out. Taiten was so excited when he found Thomas the Train inside the restoration center. We enjoyed a picnic lunch before heading home. In the afternoon, we had fun with the sprinklers and water table. Monday night, we grilled out steaks and corn on the cob for Andy's birthday and had a blueberry cobbler and cupcakes for dessert.


Everyone headed to the airport on Tuesday morning. Avery and Ryan were not happy when they figured out that everyone was not going to be at the house when we got home from school. We had so much fun and are looking forward to Kiawah for Thanksgiving!!
