Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

We told Avery and Ryan on Saturday they we were going to the zoo tomorrow and they had a tough time waiting. We headed to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs on Sunday morning and had to pack up the car since we were spending the night at the Broadmoor. Ryan kept asking when we were going to get in the car and go to the zoo. Poor guy had no idea it would take over an hour to get there! But, it was worth the drive. The kids had a great time and enjoyed running from animal to animal. They especially loved the giraffes which you could get close to and feed.
